Ministry of Sound: Knit Club
Concept / Knitting / Design / Layout
Who would expect to see woolly characters in the heat of summer? Ministry of Sound were encouraged to push their brand to a completely different dimension for their summer flyers.
Opting for a more unusual yet adorable route, the flyers were hand knitted and stitched to build a mini city-scape of buildings and robots all coming alive to have a blast around the famous Ministry of Sound decks.
The first fold-out poster in the series shows the buildings waking from slumber after a hard night of raving from the night before.
Next, we continue into sunset, when the dry ice livens everyone up a bit and the friendly Elephant opens his eyes to contemplate the night ahead. The final installment shows the city at night; but a bit of darkness doesn’t stop these little fellas from switching on the lights to enjoy a night out at the world’s most famous nightclub.
